 Brother Tony Menges was a long time member even before Pastor Walsh’s arrival at Lighthouse Baptist Church in 2003. He became part of the church’s part-time staff in 2004. He is now with the church full-time as the director of outreach which includes Tuesday night visitation/soul winning, Saturday morning visitation/soul winning and Thursday morning Senior visitation. Brother Tony also trains soul winners in our Ambassador Club Trainer/trainee program which meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00.
Brother Tony is also our Senior Ministry director which includes Seasoned Saints, a ministry for all those 55 years of age and over as well as overseeing our ministry to convalescent homes and assisted living homes.
Biography:
I was born in Abbottstown, Pa in 1962. My family was a very "religious" family and attended a Catholic church. I attended their schools and had a religion but no relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1994, while watching a television program, I learned that Jesus came to the earth to save sinners and that the reason he died on the cross was for the sins of the whole world. I knew I needed a savior and I put my faith and trust in Him that day. I began attending Dover Bible Church where I met my wife Deb. We were married in March of 1994. Deb is now the secretary here and helps me with the Seasoned Saints.
