The Youth Ministry, under the direction of Pastor Nathan Walsh, is centered around the Wednesday evening youth group and the Sunday School hour. This ministry is designed to equip the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow; teaching a Biblical foundation and a Christian world view to help prepare them to meet the challenges of tomorrow with faith and victory. We know that the youth of today’s churches are the church of tomorrow. As the church of tomorrow, our youth ministry strives to instill in our group habits that will last a life time. Therefore, our youth group lives by the verse in I Timothy 4:12, “Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” We wish to build a blazing fire in the hearts of youth so that they will take that light into the world around them.
Youth Ablaze
Youth Ablaze meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm in room 9. Every Wednesday includes a time of games, prayer, God honoring choruses and hymns, and a time of Bible study. This service is led by Pastor Nathan Walsh.
TEAM Soulwinning
T.E.A.M. Outreach stands for: Teens Evangelizing All Mankind. T.E.A.M is a soul winning program every Wednesday at 4:15pm when the teenangers go out visiting door to door.
Sunday School
Sunday School, taught by Bro. Steven Jaggard, meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. The youth meet to learn Biblical principles of life. Come join us this Sunday; we are looking forward to seeing you!
Other Activities
Other activities are sponsored throughout the year including such things as hayrides, snow tubing, T.A.C.O.’s (Teen After Church Outings) youth conferences, missions trips, and much more. These activities are not only designed to be a time of fellowship but also an evangelistic tool to reach out to friends and neighbors who may not know Christ as their personal Savior.
Bus Transportation
Bus Transportation is provided to and from Lighthouse Baptist Church for all age groups. The bus provides a safe mode of transportation filled with excitement through the preaching of God’s Word, singing, and games. If interested in more information about the bus ministry click here.
